Dear Marauders, 

this week we will finish testing the international vocabulary from page 9 and practice the colors we already know from last year. On Friday, we will write a short test on colors. You can prepare pages 7, 8, 10/cv for these lessons in the workbook. 1, 2, 4, pp. 11/7, in the textbook, pp. 1O/3, 11/4.

Next, we dive into the next lesson, Lesson 4, where we will learn the questions and answers we use in dating. I will enrich the phrases by 2-3 so that you have this topic complete. Some, on the other hand, you already know and will not be new.

In the front of the notebook, write the „bold“ phrases:

What’s your name? My name is ……………………..  (doplň podle sebe)

How are you? I am fine. Thank you. What about you?

I am fine too.                              (Toto již známe a nové není).

How old are you? I am 8 (9). (kolik ti je let + odpověď)

Where are you from? I am from Líšnice/Klínec, etc. (odkud jsi + odpověď)

Are you English? Am I Czech? Jsi Angličan? jsem Čech.

We will practice these phrases over and over again this week, in the form of questions and answers, composing sentences word by word (cut interview, preparing interviews).
